THE HOLY SPIRIT: Spiritual Gifts
“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” 1 Corinthians 12:7

The baptism in the Holy Spirit doesn’t end with power for personal growth, it equips you with spiritual gifts to build up the Church and reach the lost. Paul tells us these gifts - like wisdom, healing, tongues, prophecy, and discernment to name a few are given as the Spirit chooses, not for our glory, but for God’s Kingdom work. Many believers receive the Spirit’s fullness but never fully activate or stir up the gifts inside them. These gifts are not meant to lie dormant. They are meant to be fanned into flame.
There are literally thousands of spiritual gifts. It is not just about the prophetic. There are gifts that are expressed through everyday life. Gifts of hospitality, kindness, prayer, generosity, service, just to name a few. You may wonder which spiritual gifts you have, and the answer is you will always have the ones you need in the moment.
It’s important to seek the gifts. In your prayer time with the Lord, ask Him for gifts for prophecy, boldness, hospitality, etc. Make it a consistent effort and when the opportunity arises, you will be equipped to meet the needs, provide answers, assist in the breakthrough all for the Glory of God because God hears you and He never lets a prayer go unanswered.
The question is: Are you hungry and willing to step out when the Spirit prompts you? The same Spirit who filled the early Church with power wants to work through you in ways that will bring healing, encouragement, and miracles in the lives of others.
God has given every believer gifts that usually look like talents, passions, and hobbies in some form. Are you passionate about sports? music? coffee? I don’t think that’s by accident. I think your passions are meant to connect with your spiritual gifts and that combination is how you best share Christ. This is the whole idea of Native Builders Club - To inspire believers to tap into their gifts to reach the lost. N.B.C is not another exclusive Christian hangout. Get up and get out in the world because the world needs YOU and YOUR giftings given by God.
